Curiosity is insubordination in its purest form by Vladimir Nobokov

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – White Space will host it’s first collaboration between curator Julie Wynn and The Saints NYC, “Suspended” a multi media art exhibit with a surprising immersive experience that will leave guests wondering where they are being lead. Displaying an experimental curated collection of local and established artists in the amenity of a historic building.

White Space is an unparalleled townhouse turned into an artistic hub where every season a new group show takes place. In the heart of downtown New York City, White Space resides next to the former The Mudd Club (Feral House), a creative after hours club and stomping ground of the pioneers of the New York underground art scene from the likes of Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat to Keith Haring and many more. The club’s self-mythologizing denizens were a mix of the famous and underground artists of an era long gone but the nostalgia for that era exists today, a vibe re-created for that week.
The Saints NYC in collaboration with White Space’s Julie Wynn have curated a show by selecting an international group of artists from Italy, France, Austria, Israel and the US. Participating artists are Yael Azoulay from Israel, Ashley Taraban from New York, Sara Von Kienegger from Austria, Kamran Fallahpour from New York, Trihumph from Boston, The LoveChild from Brooklyn, Yolande Heijnen from the Netherlands, and Samantha T Franklin from Westchester New York.

White Space aims to infuse the nostalgia of times long gone into an unorthodox art show experience leaving guests “Suspended” in a state of uncertainty and a fresh new way to absorb the various art forms that wil be presented.

Enter expecting the unexpected.
